These Terms govern your access to and use of Clavo AI. We have written them to be clear and straightforward. Please read them carefully — by using Clavo AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Clavo AI (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to the Clavo AI website, demo and early access forms, the Clavo AI SaaS platform, and all related AI hiring, interview, reporting, and compliance workflow features.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
To access the platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@clavo-ai.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.
You may only access workspaces, data, and features that you are authorised to access. Companies and workspace administrators are responsible for the users they invite, the permissions they grant, and the actions taken by those users within their workspace.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or pose a security risk.
Permitted use
Clavo AI is designed for employers, HR teams, and recruitment professionals to assist with hiring workflows. You may use the Service only for lawful recruitment purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Employers and recruiters using Clavo AI are responsible for the data they upload and process through the platform. You must have a lawful basis, appropriate permissions, and any required candidate notices or consents before uploading candidate data, CVs, or other personal information.
You are solely responsible for all hiring decisions made using Clavo AI. The platform provides tools and AI-assisted insights to support your process — it does not make hiring decisions on your behalf and does not replace legal, HR, or compliance advice.
Nationalization and compliance reports generated by Clavo AI are decision-support tools intended to assist your internal planning. They are not official government determinations, certified compliance assessments, or legal opinions, and should not be treated as such.
Clavo AI uses artificial intelligence to generate outputs including candidate summaries, rankings, screening results, interview notes, hiring reports, and compliance insights. These outputs are designed to assist — not replace — informed human decision-making.
AI outputs may be incomplete, reflect limitations of available data, or require human review before acting on them. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs and applying your own judgement before making decisions based on them.
Final hiring decisions must remain with the employer or recruiter. Do not use AI outputs as the sole basis for employment decisions where doing so is prohibited by applicable law, regulation, or your organisation's internal policy.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data — including candidate, recruiter, and employer data processed through the platform.

Employers using Clavo AI remain responsible for ensuring that candidates have received appropriate notices and that any required consents have been obtained before candidate data is uploaded or processed. Clavo AI acts as a data processor on your behalf for candidate data — you remain the data controller.
Clavo AI is offered on a subscription basis. Current plan pricing is as follows:
Founder pricing is locked for the duration specified at signup and is non-transferable. It is limited to the first 7 qualifying companies per tier. Clavo AI reserves the right to discontinue founder pricing for new sign-ups at any time without affecting existing founder subscribers.
Billing
By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with your chosen plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your location.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 14 days at billing@clavo-ai.com.
We strive to keep Clavo AI available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Early access and feature changes
Clavo AI is currently in an early access phase. During this period, features may change, be added, modified, or removed. Feature availability may vary across plans and regions. Clavo AI may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
Uptime and SLA
No specific uptime guarantee or service level agreement (SLA) applies unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement with Clavo AI.
Clavo AI relies on third-party service providers to deliver the platform. These may include providers in the following categories:
The availability and terms of third-party services may vary and are outside our direct control. Clavo AI is not liable for any interruption, error, or change to a third-party service that affects the platform. We subject all providers to appropriate contractual data protection obligations where applicable.
Clavo AI's property
The Clavo AI platform — including its software, designs, AI workflow logic, algorithms, branding, and content — is owned by Clavo AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any Clavo AI intellectual property rights to you.
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you upload to the platform, including job briefs, candidate data, and workspace content. By using the Service, you grant Clavo AI a limited licence to process, store, and use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the platform, you agree that Clavo AI may use this feedback to improve the Service without restriction or compensation to you.
Each party may receive confidential information from the other in connection with the Service — for example, product roadmap details, commercial terms, or proprietary business information. Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information with at least the same level of care it applies to its own, and to use it only for the purposes of the business relationship.
This obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes publicly available through no breach of these Terms, was independently developed, or is required to be disclosed by law or valid legal process.
The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available," particularly during the early access period, unless a separate written agreement with Clavo AI specifies otherwise. We make no warranty that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suited to your specific requirements.
Clavo AI does not guarantee specific hiring outcomes, compliance outcomes, or that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clavo AI and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Cap on liability
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Clavo AI in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To cancel your subscription, contact us at support@clavo-ai.com or use your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Termination by Clavo AI
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion and retention following termination is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and confidentiality — will continue to apply.
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clavo AI is registered and operates. If you have questions about the applicable jurisdiction or dispute resolution process, please contact us at legal@clavo-ai.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, applicable law, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
